I should know this but it’s been a while😊 Some of my co-workers have derived parameters that use integrals and running sums and they’ve noticed the results vary by workstation. Is that because the derived parameters are only running when the associated analysis windows are active? If so, what is the best way to proceed? Will setting the AW to run while minimized fix it or should they move those parameters to an IAP? If they check the “Run while Minimized”, I assume that reloading the desktop will also clear out any running sums, is that correct?
Thanks,
-Bob
Bob,
Long time no chat.
You are correct on all counts. Convert them to IAPs for the best success. That way the calculations will occur on the server and a data file will record the integration results. Scroll back or not displaying the derived will still work regardless, but consider
making a reset input for them so that you start the recording of their values from a known point.
Thank you,
