The "ShowMagRestValue" draws a line at the value set by the
"PeakResetValue" property. So if the "PeakResetValue" is set to 50,
setting the "ShowMagResetValue" to "True" will draw a line (for
reference) at the 50 mark.
If you are not seeing any line, check to make sure the
"PeakResetValue" is within the "ScaleMin" and ScaleMax" range of the
display. It might be drawing it out of range for the display or if
your using a scale from 0-N, then it's drawing the line at on the
edge.

No. There is not a hot key press to reset the peak value. but there is
the "PeakHoldSeconds" property that, when set to "0" will never reset
the peak value. You could link a Button control to the
"PeakHoldSeconds" properties value to manually control a reset.
