I haven't played with them for a while, and I have a few questions
related to Cross Plots. First, do you all plan on implementing the
ability to allow the user to change the grid and tick spacing? It
currently defaults to a value, but that's not what I was hoping to
use. Also, I'm trying to mimick a display that uses grid's that have
dotted lines. An option to allow for the selection of different line
types would be totally awesome (that's my attempt at California
speak). Another option would be to allow for the display of the
axis labels by the axes. Currently it looks like I have a choice to
display the parameter labels, but that looks like it's fixed at the
top of the display. One last thing, envelope labels. It looks like
they can be turned on, but they have a fixed location. Two of the
envelopes I want to use are quite close together, and the labels are
too close, and look funny. Is there a possibility to allow for the
setting of coordinates within the cross plot to place those envelope
labels. I tried simply using text boxes, but I can't seem to get the
text box to appear on top of the cross plot. Maybe I'm doing
something wrong. I also tried a regular label, but I'd like to be
able to change the background color, and also change to border style
to none (so it appears as simple text). Thanks.

Matt,
You can use the 'x'/'y' and 'Shift+x'/'Shift+y' to change the number of grid
lines in the cross plot. An alternative would be to set the cross plot to no
grids and use the envelope to plot the grids at your specific locations.
This technique allows you to assign the color and line type for the
envelope.
If you are adventurous enough you could also add text in this way, but it
would take a lot of time and require an envelope for every letter unless you
are good with etch-a-sketch type of drawing.

We'll note your suggestions and see about implementing them in a future
release of the software.
