Hello,

I have problems with the IadsSpinBox ActiveX Conrol Element.

If a Spinbox has a value entered, which is 1000 or greater and I use the up/down button, it changes to a floating value (e.g. value is 12500 -->  If I push the down buton, the value will change to 12.499 instead 12499). There is no possibility to define the value field for the input as integer, to prevent this behaviour.

On the other hand, for a different field, I would like to enter a float value (e.g. 2.7), but I can only enter integer (2 or 3, nothing inbetween).

How can I change the behaviour of the SpinBox? I wasn't able to change the behaviour within the property definition.

Thanks in advance
Christian

The IadsSpinBox only supports integer values; what you may be seeing is the thousands separator for the default language of the OS installed on your system. If you examine the Value property you will see the value without the thousands separator included. Additional this behavior could be affected if the OutputName field is defined and/or assigned to multiple objects. Basically only the Text Input Object can accept floating point values, whereas all of the other IADS Input Objects are of type integer.

The IadsDial input object also supports generating floating point values
