Chris,
RTStation is designed with the intent of only having one user (itself) interfacing with the IADS Server so it always attempts to log in using User1 that is created by RTStation. Any additional Real Time Display Clients that would connect to that instance of
RTStation (technically the IADS Server) would be prompted for both the User Name and Desktop. The User Name is really for managing Control Room configuration via Operator Console where each IADS Client Icon can have its own user name and desktop assigned for
start-up. Any User can display any Desktop and most operational filtering is done via the Group and SubGroup categories and not user.
