I have another question, but this time it's one of your programs, not
one of ours ;-} The IADS DataView has a feature that allows you to
export the file to a .csv file. You've probably here this before, but
when you go to File --> Export --> CSV, and save the file, a file name
and location selector would be great there. Also, it would be nice to
allow the user to select specific rows, instead of saving the whole
file to a .csv file. That would allow the user to save a timeslice of
the whole dataset. What do you think?

Matt,

I think this tool was for "data debugging" purposes only (for us and for the
"data" people). This wasn't intended for the end user.

I'm not sure why there would be an "Export to CSV" option in there.... but..
since it's there, I think it should be fixed. I'll add the bug and
suggestion to the list.

I hope this tool doesn't supplant the IADS client.. LOL! ;)

Nah, but it would be a helpful way to quickly time slice some data
for a particular parameter....

Yes it was just a deugging aid. Folks that are creating their own
IADS files may want to look at different segments of a file for
validation purposes. Really not meant to be a end user time slicer
tool.

But such is the way of things
