Would there be any great consequences changing the default value of
the archive compression ratio in the setup? Would it help archive
speed?

The system simply uses pkzip to compress the files, so I would imagine
anything that applies to a normal file would apply to an Iads archive as
well.

The usual behavior is: The longer it takes to compress, the smaller the
resultant files.... and the converse... the faster it takes to compress, the
larger the resultant files.

Of course, this is just a rule of thumb, but it holds true most of the time,
