I just looked into this, and we are indeed using the PrintScreen key
to produce printouts (in addition to the other mechanisms)
This was a feature request from users that was implemented back in
September '02. Unfortuantely old enough for both Jim and I to have
forgotten it even existed.
I'm sorry Mark, but currently there is no way to disable this. I'll
add a feature request to our database to make it an option to not use
that key.
In playing around with it a bit, I've found that if you do not have an
Analysis Window selected, you can successfully perform a screen
capture without a printout (click a blank area of the Windows Desktop
to de-select the AW) but if you are specifically trying todo a window
capture of the AW, that's not an option.
There is also a mechanism built-in to IADS for capturing images. If
you have an AW selected the hotkey combo is Ctrl-Shift-F1. For
individual data displays, try Right-Click->Save Image.
The first time you perform a screen capture you will be prompted to
choose where to store the image files. Each successive entry will then
use the same location.
The resulting bitmaps will be named Username.DesktopName.IRIGTime.bmp
