Well just wanted everyone to know that today the Harley is leaving my
garage. Kinda sad as I have such a firm attachment to the bike. I
know guys and their bikes are just weird but the fact is right now I
would be lucky to gather the stength to move it. I sold it for a fair
price. Neither the new owner or I were taken. He sounds like he will
take care of it. It sold in just one day. Figure that means that he
got the deal. But what ever if it helps us get through this rough
time it is probably best.
When a dude stands in a garage for hours working on a bike and taking
care of all the parts to keep it in good running condition a bond is
formed. Regardless of it being a machine or not. There were so many
prayers answered on that bike and so many more spoken. Hours worth of
praise songs sung and yes even alot of pride shown because of it, it
is a brother.
I hope to have my energy back soon and then I will purchase another.
Until then however at least for the winter I will be bikeless. Now if
anyone wants to take issue with my leadership in the club let me
know. I realize that you need to have a bike to be a member. However
for me right now this isn't possible. With the uncertainty of my
financial future and health I have to focus on the future as well.
I see it maybe an upgrade opportunity. Say a prayer for the new
owners and the bike.
