IACS News

Robotics Tournament @ UMass Lowell this weekend:  Come cheer on the robotics team & club this Saturday, May 4th, at UMass Lowell gymnasium!  High School Robotics team will be competing in Botball, double elimination rounds start at 12:00.  The middle school robotics club will be displaying robots from 11:00-1:00 for Botfest, which is also in the Costello Gym. Students currently in grades 8-11:

In the auditorium: Thursday, May 30, 3:00-4:00 AND Friday, May 31, 3:00-4:00

**You must attend both audition days!  This has been cleared with coaches!**

 

Students currently in grades 5-7:

Friday, June 7

Let your homebase teachers know, then go to first lunch, and then head to the auditorium for auditions during recess and SSR! 

 

In order to audition you will need a signed audition agreement.

No experience or preparation needed!

Middle School News

Congratulations to Ms. Krakauer and the Global Leaders Club, who just received word that their entry won the grand prize of the National Grid's Energy Efficiency Face-off. The Global Leaders won a $2500 energy efficiency grant for IACS and a visit from Boston Bruin Andrew Ference. We are so proud of their creative problem-solving and hard work!

High School News

Any IACS junior or senior who wants to attend the May 24th prom, please bring a check for $70 to Tina Lindberg by this Wednesday.   After this date (May 8th), tickets may be priced higher since it would require us to expand the reservation.
