School Year Calendar: Last week, we emailed next year's school calendar. There were a couple of small errors (text at the bottom); a new copy is attached.
Middle School News
Middle School Field Day is Monday, June 17th. Students should come dressed in their team colors which were announced in homebase and wear sneakers. Bringing a water bottle will be helpful. Students that have not yet finished their portfolio requirements and/or other major assessments, such as rubrics, will participate in a quiet work session on Monday and will join the field day once their work is completed. We have been reminding students at school about this in order to ensure that all students are finishing the year with their requirements met.
The 8th Grade Moving Up Assembly will be held in our school auditorium from 8:15-9:15 AM on Tuesday, June 18th. Eighth grade students have a ceremony including a retrospective account of middle school written by students and recognition of students’ completion of middle school. This will be followed by a continental breakfast for students and their guests. Due to space constraints in the auditorium, students are limited to no more than two guests at the assembly. Please respect this rule to ensure all that attend can be seated.
