This is a very regrettable move. It devalues the donations made in good faith by our generous donors. They will quite rightly feel we have a dual standard. This will jeopradise our Image in the community (which has already taken a bit of a hit this year). It will also compromise future fuand raising from Galas. It is a case of too little too late.
 
I urge you to withdraw this idea, and I would like to hear what other BODs opine.

It Makes Sound  Economic Sense. 

We cannot Donate the Left Over Food as this  has liability issues.

Donors have encouraged us to Sell their Tables as they are either Not coming to the event or have found seats with 

friends who already have purchased Tables.

Discounted Tables will be at the far end.

All in the interest of Charity.

Not Sure in the first Place if these 5 Tables are going to be sold . At Discounted Rates!! And Remember we Still HAVE

To Pay Unless Murthy or Surender can talk to Mahesh & reduce the payment in which case  we remove 5 Tables.

Two points:

 

1.       Can some body tell me what is the final count? How many tables should MP be prepared for serving?

And , who is in charge of telling me this?

2.       We will not be donating the “left-over” food. We will just not get it out of the cooler, it will stay there if MP has additional cook that does not need to come out of cooler, and it can be delivered to Senior citizen’s place or someplace where we can deliver. Mahesh thinks he can do it.
