Thank you for your cooperation. I have always appreciated your commitment and consistency in your message to me and our IACF friends that you are a friend to IACF and doing this for the community. We very much appreciate it and hence we continue to do business with Madras Pavilion. I will come back to you by 3pm todayfor the final number count, and as I mentioned earlier- it is most likely going to be around 500 people.

Subject: Catering for IACF Gala
Dear All:
We are as much puzzle, as probably you all are, about the guest count for the IACF gala.
When we visited safari with Surinder ji, it was mentioned that the minimum guarantee is for 650 guests at the meeting with safari. Since then until couple of days back no one communicated to us, about lesser number of expected guests.
Yesterday Mr. Murthy consulted with the IACF committee members and confirmed 600 guests with 60 tables.
On Tuesday, Sysco delivered all meat, produce and other items to our restaurant and the staff has been working around the clock to get the curry sauces, marinating of the meat and other items ready for tomorrows sit down dinner. All the meat has been marinated and vegetables are chopped.
Today, a day before Mr. Murthy informed that there might be 500 guests. Please realize that based on original 650 count we have hired 12 people staff from a professional staffing company to assist us in Family Style dinner to fill bowls, preset items etc. At this stage we are responsible for their salary as the agency cannot place them on any other job.
We have been a part of IACF for so many years and have worked with you all and added additional entrees or dessert at no extra charge. This year also, we offered an extra dessert to make a dinner little bit more lavish.
We sincerely appreciate you all for making us an integral part of IACF, and would like to be a part of it for many years to come.
Please understand, WE ARE PART OF IACF, and let me know whatever is the guest count you feel comfortable, 500, 550 or 600, I will Invoice IACF for that and absorb the temporary labor and grocery cost, because it is for a noble cause and you all are working tirelessly for the community...
