Hello everybody,
The success achieved by the ANNA movent has created a wider platform to one and all to extend the main object of the movement ie eradication of corruption from its roots.
Every one should take the mantle on their shoulder to enlighten the people of the gravity of corruption,its effect on the national growth and the poor and helpless condition of the public at large. Everyone should be made to invove in using the citizen's charter and the right to information act. Let us teach the youth and students to question.
I for myself is visiting the educational institutions and requesting them to conduct seminarssome of them have been completed encouragingly.
Let us do our bit and be alert to the corrupt self centered lawmakers.

Dear Sir, I beg to appreciate your interest to know in detail. It is a very wide subject to answer in brief however I would like to give my version as to what I think is a corrupt practice in general. 1.Taking gratification either in cash or kind for doing a thing which you are obliged to do and also not doing a thing which you are supposed to do or for which you are paid or employed for. Favouring a benefit or profit to someone in order to get benefit to himself. ( Includes causing inconveniences/hurdles/delay etc., in doing a thing to compel to benefit) 2. Corruption is a deadly decease which kills oneself and kills the society and there is no exemption to it and to be routed outright. A coruupt official is dangerous than a terrorist as the act of a terrorist is momentory causing sudden damage where as the act of a corrupt official leaves a large mark of irrepareble damage to the society at large. 3. The short term effect is that it discourages and demoralizes the honest. It generates hatred among public towards the officials. It removes the fear towards the established law and brings all the vices that the illegal money brings with it. The bad vices we see in the society are from out of illgotten money Long term effect is that it wrecks the established norms and respect to the constituted bodies and their function. It creates illegal hubs/brokers money launderes and criminals in multiples. The gain or loss of money in bribes is nothing when compared to the damage it causes to the well thought over established systems. The well knit society fabric is torn to bits in the long run by corrupt practices. 4. Frankly it is the public who have no knowledge of their responsibilities towards the society at large and their short time selfish interest. Lack of education about the functioning of the departments. Large number of public own this country to use it for their benifit and not for its development or enhancement in the eyes of the world. How many of us feel and try to keep the country as one keeps their home? 5. It is not the person that is corrupt. It is the system that is corrupt. Any person in a system that tolerates/encourages and prone for corruption is the breeding ground of corrupt people. Any system that is fool proof, exposes the corrupt immedietly controles the corrupt practices. The system must be so designed that it should allow and encourage people to be honest and make them feel that honesty and sincerety is best rewarded in the long run. 6. The coruupt establishments are very well known. The ways and procedures of corrupt practices are known. It is the lack of will on the part of the dept. head or the people meant to check as they are not either willing or allowed. Certain type of administrative controls and termination of linkages/nexus among officials/brokers to be formulated. 7. The established law is sufficient to punish them. Quick enquiry and take over of ill gotten money/property will be done. 8. Citizens Charter and the RTI act are the two swords in the hands of the public. But they do not know how and where to use them. It is here that all, who are lovers of this country and crusaders against corruption must act. a. They should visit all the schools and colleges and tell them elobratly about the duties and responsibilities of citizens and that of the government servants, b. The citizens charter and its enforcement should become part and parcel of their curriculam and as a matter of practical training they should visit the nearby revenue/police/electrical/municipal and other public realated establishments to make them understand the way they function and enforcement of citizen charter. c. The youth of the demarkated areas like panchayats/mandals etc.must be trained to watch the way government schemes are sanctioned and implimented to bring an awarenes as to how and from where the money comes and it is being spent. Encouragement by institutions in this regard is lacking as some feel that this act is some what anti establishment.This is not correct.Mainly all the educational establishments should come forward to invite legal/social activists to interact with their students in this aspect. ( I have written to around 20 colleges of mba and engg. but could get voluntary call from only two of them and on obligation two others obliged on personal request and were quite appreciative about the subject.Even the so called elite like proffessors/advocates are not aware of the subject). Now the well knit IAC has to device ways and means to propegate the same and before the next move from the government, we must be prepared to mobalise at least double strength so that there is no need for another fast. 9.The proceedure now fixed for selection ensures corrupt free IAC . however the law that are to be made and implimented must be examplary so that no body should dare to be in IAC and be corrupt. 9. Very very important . We must make people realise that we are blessed to be born in this karma bhumi with all values, vertues,treditions and rich heritage. The very PAPA BEETHI is the first preventer of corruption. Propegation of values in every nook and corner and in all gatherings will have its impact. 10. Rules and regulations have always their amendments and exemptions. It is the moral teachings of Sathyam, Shivam and Sundaram that are unique and can control the human behaviour against all ills of lust and greed which are solely responsible for the corrupt behaviour. In my humble way as an ex-serviceman and as an ex-assistant commissioner in the income tax and lover of this country i expressed my veis in this short and brief note. Iac has become a media for people like us to meet and exchange our views. Further the aims and aspirations also coincide because the flatform we met has the created and spread it.
On one hand we get disappointed by the way the goverment is ruling and treating the public and on the other side lack of interest and participation on the part of the public.
People dont own this country they only want to use it at the cost of its culture, tredition and survival. It is heart breaking.
ANNA has stirred the hearts of some patriots. There are lot of things to do for all ages and groups. This is the begenning of the awakening. If we dont, then the country will go again in to deep slumber allowing the looters to finsh the country.
We should bring out and teach where ever and to what ever population the going things at least to make them know about citizen charter, right to information act and civil rights and above all the duties and responsibilities of govt.servants.
This should be made regular subjects in the schools to let the children know about it, and regular visit to the govt., offices by children to let them know about how offices function and impliment the citizens charter. Then only there is involvement.
The IAC goup now should take up this object and mobalise public openion on different anti national activities. These are to be exposed to public by meetings and pomphlets.
I am ready and going ahead in my small way.
