תצפית הפרסאידים בדרום

שלום לכולם,
אנו מארגנים תצפית במטר המטאורים פרסאידים בדרום הארץ, בפונדק הק"מ ה-101. נהיה שם 2 לילות לפחות: ה-11-12 וה-12-13 באוגוסט. נגור בחדרים בפונדק. כל מי שרוצה לבוא מוזמן להודיע לאנה לוין, ראדש חטיבת המטאורים, או לי בשביל לתאם את החדרים ו/או טרמפים.
קחו בחשבון שיהיה ירח כמעט מלא וענק (הוא בפריגאה), אז לא נראה את ה-80 מטאורים בשעה כפי שזה אמור להיות, אלא הרבה פחות. הדבר הטוב הוא שהמטר הזה עשיר במיוחד בבולידים (כדורי אש -- מטאורים בהירים במיוחד) ויש סיכוי רב לראותם.

Hi,
We are about 11 people, and all the time there are more friends who wish to come, that's awesome! You are welcome to call me at 054-5944857 for questions. The place is accessible by Egged bus no. 393, 390, 394 from Tel Aviv central bus station (which is also a railway station "Ha-hagana" so you can get there by train from Haifa). The station is called "Beer Menuha", it might also be called "101st km", the bus driver certainly knows - just tell him you want to get off there.
Nothing is 100% safe, it's everyone's own responsibility. They usually don't fire rockets there, but you can never know.
You should have enough food and water, a flash light covered with something red (e.g. a plastic bag), something you can lay on it to observe meteors, some clothes for night (I don't think it's cold, but still...), closed footwear (we're not alone in the desert, there are other creatures, sometimes not very pleasant).

If you've never been to the desert, it's a fantastic experience.
