I managed to set up a subscription to the group, but I don't use Google as a Home Page.  Hope this comes through ok.  Dawn and Tina - it does seem to me that a Bar B Q with a $50.00 cost might not be successful.  A Garage Sale would make some money, however, the distance again and the transportation present  problems.  The Walk N' Roll seemed easy for all of us, but probably because you, Dawn,  did all the work.  This group is a difficult one for such an event, due to distance from each other, getting together for conferencing and disease stage as you mention.  The care givers need to come forward, and they have in the past.  I thought that NAF sent out the flyers (as you mentioned art work).  Would next month be too late for us to get together for conferencing?  If George and Sybill are interested and available to take over the food, I could form a committee with them (if we settle on a Bar B Q).   Are these the sort of things which you are requesting?  I don't feel that I could do it alone.  I have only a sedan automobile so no means of transporting and cooling large amounts of food.  Food is a biggie.  For a raffle, possibly a list of people could be compiled, and each one responsible for an raffle item (or two).  This can be done in July?  Keep me posted.  Rebecca
