Did everyone receive the letter in the mail about the garage sale? I
had a recent address change and haven't received anything...
It's about a month away now. Are we ready? Any planning still
needed?

The letter came, but I, too, noticed no addresses for the church or Deb's house. Tina, I think you are right - sodas in the morning might not be such a good idea.  I will vote for cancelling the idea.  How about votes from the rest of you.  I will  throw out another thought also. Do you think that contacting Craig's list two weeks before and then one week before might be a good idea - instead of just the one time?  I also thought about bags for purchases.  Perhaps everyone should bring some.  I am collecting plastic bags, etc. now.  Send feedback.  Rebecca

address of the church but didn't include info about how to donate items.

The NoCal...@yahoogroups.com does not include all support group
members anyway, only those who decided to join this email list. It's
actually only a small subset of the group as a whole.

We need someone to draft a letter with more details about donations as
well as an announcement of the event. We need to send it to everyone on
the roster who has an email address. I don't have an electronic copy of
the latest roster, only paper. Jim Flagg was maintaining it. In
addition, someone should send the letter to Paul Konanz, to forward to
the Bay Area FA Parents group. I can send to letter to him if someone
sends it to me.

I have a roster on paper from the end of 2008. Can't find an electronic
copy. I could fax it to you perhaps, but some of it is pretty tiny. I
guess I could make a copy and mail it to you. What do you think?

By the way, thanks to Mike for posting the announcement to Internaf,
MCD, and NCASG. I didn't mean to give him a hard time about it. My
only criticism was that it didn't have the donation info, but it reached
a lot of people.

Mike-- you mentioned a cash box with $1100 in it. Thanks to whoever
donated the $1000! It should not live in the box, but someone should
take it out so it doesn't get lost on the day of the event. I hope
there is an extra $100 in it you can use for change.
