Yellow-crowned Night Heron

We had our summer count with 9 people and had 3 YCNH in 269th ave. again this year. One sat on a dead limb for to observe. Of course cameras were in the car a ways away. My phone did the best it could. Tom Johnson Mystic, Ia. 269 th ave. Is closed off road in Sedan  area of Appanoose County.

The YELLOW-CROWNED NIGHT-HERONS continue at Sedan Bottoms in Appanoose County.  We had five adults roosting together along 269th at the location Tom Johnson previously reported.  We also had two PROTHONOTARY WARBLERS at the bridge on the way there.
