What is this bird?

We are in rural Monona County, Mapleton, in the Loess Hills.. Could anyone identify this bird that visited our deck during lunch time? I apologize for the not great pics as I took them through our kitchen window. Thanks!

Oh, don't be hard on yourselves. Easy to do and it was a rather handsome bird and I don't know if I think of starlings as handsome, especially with that stylish mask it wore...
