Registration is now open for the Fall Iowa Ornithologists' Union Conference in Clear Lake, Iowa October 10-12, 2025. This is the perfect time and place to see migrating waterbirds, and our exciting lineup of field trips will provide ample opportunity to do so. Dr. Adam Janke, the state Wildlife Extension Specialist for Iowa State University Extension and Associate Director of the Leopold Center for Sustainable Agriculture, will share with us how he harnesses his love of birds to help understand and promote how landowners and wildlife can thrive on working lands.
