The latest issue of Living Bird, the magazine of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, includes a report on migration in South America. The report includes a beautiful photo of a Blackburnian Warbler that was taken by our own Linda Rudolph (a moderator of this group) on her trip to Colombia in 2023. On eBird, Linda’s photo is rated the “best quality” photo of a Blackburnian Warbler seen in Colombia.
While we can be justly proud of Linda, this study is a testament to how important eBird data and photos are to researchers. So thanks to all of you who put the time and expertise into your eBird checklists.
