LINN COUNTY:

A LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL was seen at Cedar Lake on the 31^st.

 

JOHNSON COUNTY:

50 SMITHS LONGSPURS were seen just south of the intersection of Highway 22 and Wapello on the 1^st.

 

A LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL was seen at the north arm of Lake McBride on the 7^th.

 

SOUTHEAST:

 

LEE COUNTY:

2 BEWICKS WRENS were seen at the Argyle junkyard on the 7^th.

 

A PINE WARBLER was seen at the Farmington Unit of Shimek SF on the 7^th.

 

 

 

 

SOUTH CENTRAL:

 

APPANOOSE COUNTY:

A BLACK SCOTER was seen from the beach at Honey Creek Resort at Lake Rathbun on the 1^st.

 

 

 

 

CENTRAL:

 

BOONE COUNTY:

A CINNAMON TEAL continues to be seen in the pond at Lower Ledges SP on the 1^st. It was last seen on the 3^rd.

 

POLK COUNTY:

An early HOUSE WREN was seen along the Des Moines River in Des Moines on the 1^st.

 

A FISH CROW was seen flying back and forth between Oak Grove and Cherry Glen at Saylorville on the 2^nd. It was last seen on the 4^th .
