Western Kingbird Nest with Young in Cedar Rapids

 Today I finally located the nest of the WESTERN KINGBIRD pair continuing at the Edgewood Road substation across from Wendling Quarry. A partial view can be scoped and at least 3 fuzzy chicks were

visible. The parents were active and feeding them. The nest is atop the left most insulator of a set of three

as seen from the first access. See photo for marked spot.
