Must have been an American Woodcock day! I kicked up one along a trail at Lake Keomah SP, Mahaska County.

My husband and I heard 10-15 American Woodcocks on the west side of Terry Trueblook park in Johnson County last night. We saw several of them displaying. The West side is closest to the Iowa river with lots of long grasses
