It's a pleasure to be interacting with the community again. After some time away from Idempiere due to other activities, it's good to be back.
fixed assets in this version, I noticed that when working with residual value (salvage value), although the projected depreciation records for each period are correct (the calculation uses the historical cost minus the salvage value and divides this result by the total useful life), the SL/Period Expense field in the Asset Balance tab is incorrect (it doesn't take the salvage value into account). I would like to know the reason for this behavior.
Example:
Asset: 10000001_Data Processing001. It is activated for a value of $1,000,000 with a salvage value of $200,000 and a useful life of 6 months.
When consulting the Asset Balances tab in the SLGasto Periodo field, it shows $166,666.66,666, and not the actual expense, which would be $133,333.33. This is why I'm wondering what the reason is.
I clarify that the expense table correctly records the depreciation value of $133,333.333
