Hello community,

I have accomplished to install my iDempiere source on Eclipse version 8.2 and everything went well, however installing lastest iDempiere source 9 always give me errors even though I follow the same video tutorial

I'm using windows 11, java 11 (I have tried with java 17 too), eclipse lastest version (I have tried with Eclipse IDE 2021-03 too), postgresql 13

Could it be that there is an additional step, any ideas please?
Thanks in advance

Thank you for early reply. I share you some attached images about error messages. It turn out they are Java and Plug-in Problems.

Hi, I've setup my idempiere v9 development few days ago without problem following the written guide here https://wiki.idempiere.org/en/Installing_iDempiere
Just want to make sure, did you run mvn verify and set active target platform?

Hi, I have followed all the steps several times, I have tried with all versions of Eclipse, I have tried to download the code from both the git repository and the one published on sourceforge, I have followed the steps from both the wiki and the youtube tutorial, and the problem persists in the plugins of the target platform and in the Java version Amazon Correct

If you have some trouble connecting with specific library, maybe you can try download it manually https://mvnrepository.com/artifact/biz.aQute.bnd/biz.aQute.bndlib/5.3.0 then put it to your local maven.

Hello everyone, thank you very much for your answers. I have found the solution to install the development environment with version 9 without having problems with the target platform, maven and java. Using eclipse version eclipse-jee-2021-03-R-win32-x86_64, not only is it enough to install tycho, you also have to install m2e connector for maven-dependency-plugin as indicated in the following guide:
