Hi Everyone, I went out yesterday to check the east end of our district and this is what I found and the grooming we will do this week. Today we will let all the very high water finish running out of all the streams and rivers in the Teanaway and Swauk areas before we will groom those areas. The routes that impacts is the Teanaway system and the Table Mtn. area systems. It wouldn’t be good to have the groomer break off the snow on the edge of the road or where water ran under the snow and across the road and the cat fall into a hole or the creek. There are also a few areas where the bank is sluffing from under the road and we need those areas to firm up a little before we take the groomer past them so the road does not give way under the cat. We expect that next week we will be on our normal schedule. This weekend we expect to groom our normal weekend routes with both cats. That would be the complete route on Keechelus Ridge both days and the Table Mtn. routes from Blewett Snowpark to Reecer and Haney Mdw. When I was at Reecer yesterday the road was spotty at best from the lower snowpark and I’m not sure how far up the mountain the melt went. So when we get there on Friday I’m not sure where we will have to turn around with the groomer. Be safe out there and watch for new hazards, also on your favorite play areas watch for rocks and logs starting to show. John
