I have a friend who lives in a spacious brick industrial loft in
Detroit, in Corktown near Midtown. One of their roommates is moving
out at the end of October, and they seek someone to move in.
The loft is decorated like an awesome museum. There are street signs,
masks, covers from fake comic books, and a wall of paintings of
various Jesuses ("Jesii"?) under a huge bank of pulley-operated
skylights. There is a farmer's market nearby. The roommates are both
women. $390 a month, utilities included.
