canoe building class INTEREST?

Hej,

Happy Fall.  Im building a cedar strip canoe (my third) starting soon.  want to learn or watch?  While it wont be a comprehensive course you should have more than enough info and experience to go on to build your own or just participate in the process.  

I should be at the space working often enough, so that everyone can have time to drop in. Of course, participants will have some heads up info for a real time schedule and updates.  You can observe or dive in.  Either way, there will be a whiskey plank and launch events.  Feel free to reply with your level of wood knowledge.  Everyone on the build has to be taken through the steps before they use anything that can murder them.  

I would especially welcome designer's ideas for an I3Detroit style while we pay homage to the traditions and history of wooden boat building culture!

PS There will be a nominal fee that will cover tool usage and such, TBD.  Dont let that stand in the way of a one-time opp.
