This Coming Sunday, 2 Sept 2012 "Labor's Weekend"

All,

For this coming Sunday, the hearing church (FBC-Rockville) will be having a picnic and I-270 Deaf Christian Fellowship (IDCF) will join them after church services. With that said, they will need to use the fellowship hall to prepare for the picnic so we will use different room for our deaf worship - it will be room 210/212. We will need to start at 11 AM, just for this Sunday.

For the food, the hearing church asks different group to bring specific food so they want us to bring mac & cheese and beans. Debra will buy and cook mac & cheese (three large bakes) and LeeAnn will cook beans. As last Sunday, we agreed to chip $2 each per person. Please give money to either Debra or LeeAnn if you plan to join us.

I will bring one large pan of the baked beans so many of you know that I have a limited morbidly to carry so I need  your help to carry the pan to the fellowship hall when i arrive at the church. Can you meet me in the front of the church around 10:45 am?   My car is navy blue with a license," En Agape".  Thanks!

I think it is more than just how many from IDCF are going.  As Ron pointed out during the church services last Sunday that we are committed to bringing enough food for 75 persons for both hearing and deaf.  I feel that it would be embarrassing if we (IDCF) bring in a smaller quantity of food.  We would be happy to help with additional cash contributions.

Both Ron and Tom have a good point about bringing enough food for 75 people.  What time will the picnic start?  The reason why I ask this question is because I will pick Dan up from the BWI Airport at 2pm. If the picnic starts as early as 12 noon, I will have some time to join you, I will give Debra $2.
