Hi Everyone.

 

Some of you were not at the church last Sunday.  We miss you! Hope all finds you well!!!  I am here to share the lesson from last Sunday.

 

Here is:

 

A July 15 lesson have described a six different kinds of the "lead dried bones of the churches".  If you have not study that lesson, then please review the lesson before you can go ahead to read below. 

 

Ezekiel 37: 8-15

 

verse 8: "I looked, and behold, sinews were on them, and fresh grew, and skin covered them; but there was no breath in them."

 

Sinews means heart, liver, kidneys, intestines, pancreas, and other factors in our body. Without them, we would be impossible to factor at all.  Even through. If we just have the bones and skins and our body would not factor!   Fresh means muscle layers and  skins. 

 

It is very important to have all organs factored to be "heart beat" living.   God is more interested in your heart and your heartbeats than anything else.  Not on how your looks.  

 

These dried bones were back on and stand in the eyes of Ezekiel. But there was NO breath in them. No heartbeats!  

 

God explained in verses 11-12:  He has showed who authorized when he cut off or open the grave. See

 

Deuteronomy 32:39. "See now I, I am He, And there is no god beside Me, It is I who put to death and give life. I have wounded, and it is I who heal, And there is no one who can deliver from My hand."

 

Only God can authorize when he calls us or brings you into the world. Authority is something we are knowledge who has a power.  Not only He does when he open the graves, He also put His spirit in you and you will come to life. (Ezekiel 37:15). It demonstrates that God is all authority when he calls you. He will put you in His Spirit and will come to life.. your heartbeats!   It is not about your physical but it is about your spiritually. 

 

Now with your heartbeats.. How can you breath in your heartbeats?  Your heart would be pumping into your body and your oxygen will go to your lungs and your mind!!!  Your mind is how you react or respond to your daily life. Then how can we breath in God's Spirit and will come to life? 

 

First of all your mind: practice one of one important verses that Moses commanded and even Jesus commands in New Testament.  The Hebrew word in Deuteronomy 6:4-5 is SHEMA.

 

"Hear O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord is one! And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your might."  You can notice these words.. with all your, with all your and with all your...  means WHOLE!! YOUR WHOLE HEART, YOUR WHOLE SOUL and YOUR WHOLE MIGHT.   Not spill into three things.. It shows that we must give HIM WHOLE! 

 

See Matthew 22:27 for Jesus commands us to do so.

 

How can we show the Lord your WHOLE?  Your action, your grateful and your appeal with others: Fruits of the Spirit.. (Ron have taught lately but he will get back to the lesson when he gets back). 

 

so what is your action???  

 

1. Prayer mind:  You are praying everywhere when you walk, sit or stand. You pray always..

 

Now David the King prayed everywhere in the front of the people, his servants, his bodyguards and His people.  David was earnestly gone after God's heart despite he did made the mistakes. 

 

I Chronicles 17:25. (last sentence)  "Your servant have found courage to pray before thee."  David found courage to pray before God.   David was courage to pray whatever he went to or met the people. He was the king who prayed before his people and God.  Like I said.. when last time the President of USA have prayed for this nation????   I believed that it was only Abraham Lincoln who prayed before the people. (Unless you are expert in the history, you can tell us!).  

 

Be courage to pray with the people.  Not just saying. " I will pray for you".    you show your prayer! 

 

Matthew 14:23:  And after he had sent the multitudes away, He went up the mountain by Himself to pray and when it was evening. he was there alone.

 

Jesus found a time to pray. He was alone in the mountain and spend a qualified time with the Lord, His Father.   Are we spending our qualified time with our Father? A qualified time means a very good spending time".  Do you have a place that will not disturb you? 

 

Philippians 4:6: be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.   Whatever you make a request and trust HIM!  Worry is sin and makes your life short!

 

2.  Mission mind :  What is God's mission for this world?  God wants everyone to be saved through faith in Jesus Christ. (1 Tim. 2:4). When Jesus commanded the disciples to go, make the disciples, and baptize them in the name of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.. so we ought to be earnestly keeping our mission mind. 

 

There is no word "mission" in the bible except Paul's missionary.  But  there is called. "ministry" that mean serving. Our job are:

 

2 Corinthians 5:18  Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.  The ministry that God gives us is witness and bring people to

God through Jesus Christ. We are responsible to make the people to reconcile to God, therefore.  we are on the mission!

 

I Timothy 4:5  But be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of evangelist, fulfill your ministry.   The church life is not easy but we face many hardship.  with the Lord's help, we are keeping on until God calls us.  we witness, teach, lead , and so on.. Nothing is a simple.   If we give up the ministry then it will lead to the valley of the dried bones.

 

3.  Church mind:  What is a church mind??   Think of the church everyday.  Pray for the pastor (his family), leaders and ministry.. The church is not yours or in  your name.  I 270 Deaf Christian Fellowship is a lease you are using. Who belongs the church?

 

Matthew 16:18:  And I say to you, are Peter and upon the rock I will build My church and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. 

 

Only Jesus belongs. not us. We have thinking of HIS church. Not my church. If we think of our church, there will be a problem! We have to think about HIS church that Jesus builds. 

 

I never forgot the sermon that my pastor, Dr. Joel Gregory to tell the story. He told us that in his dream he met Jesus and walked with Him. Then he gave Jesus a ride.  When he drove around the city of Ft. Worth. They spotted a small dying church.  Joel asked Jesus about that church (compared to my former church, mega church). Why we have so many small churches like that.. no successful or no active....

 

Jesus replied, "on the rock, I will build MY church..." so these churches I continue to build." and asked Joel who will they be willing to take the rolls up and be involved.?   We have to think about HIS church we are involved and be active.

 

Revelation 2:11 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches..."

 

Listen to the Holy Spirit decently. He will guide us in doing all things, His church!  Pray for the Spirit's pouring out over His church so we will come to life and be active.  HEARTBEATS!

 

That is the lesson we had last Sunday. This coming Sunday I will be expanding on the prayer mind.  I had an opportunity to watch the live tapes on Southern Baptist Conference of the Deaf this week.  I miss not able going but I will be definitely going next year so I hope you all will able join us. I will bring the messages what I have learned from SBCD this Sunday morning,
