Good Evening,

Praise the Lord for this beautiful weather!

For our activity on May 11, 2013, we are encouraged to hike or bike more often. It should be a lot of fun! Come and join together for fun!

I would need to gather your vote which biking or hiking activity you would like to take.

For biking activity:
We would meet each other at Gallaudet campus. Free parking. We would bike together towards the National Mall, around Tidal Basin, Washington Monument, and over to Virginia, to Reagan National Airport area, rest, eat, share, devotions, watch over airplanes landing/taking off and return to Gallaudet campus.

or,

We would meet each other at Meadowbrook Park (former Candy Cane City) near the intersection of East-West Highway and Beach Drive. Free parking. We would bike together on about 5 or 6-mile Beach Drive in Rock Creek Park all the way to the National Zoological Park. We could stop by Peirce Mill to tour a little. Stop, rest, eat our own lunch, and share devotions. Afterward, we would return to the Meadowbrook Park.

or,

For hiking activity:
We would meet each other in front of National Zoo entrance on Connecticut Ave. Parking at the National Zoological Park, $16 dollars for three hours, $22 dollars for more than 3 hours. Or would take a metro to National Zoo Station and meet each other at the Zoo entrance. Or park on residence streets  5 or more blocks away from the National Zoo at own risk. Hiking around the National Zoological Park and Rock Creek Park. For a little tour, we could stop by Peirce Mill outside the National Zoological Park.

Later this summer or early fall, I will provide some more hiking and biking activities in Rock Creek Park, and Parks in Virginia.

Let me know which biking or hiking you would like to take.

Hello - I checked Deaf cyclist club and it looks like they don't have event on May 11st.

I would vote Gallaudet - Washington Monument.
