Hi all,

I seem to be getting odd RT numbers in my calculations. I would expect the RT-30 time to be around 2x the RT-15 time, but in this case its actually lower. Is there a reason why this might be happening?

I've attached a screenshot of my results.

Thanks.

Dear Tommy,

The Reverberation Time (RT) in a room acoustic indicator that describe the sound decay, normalised for a decay of 60dB. Whatever the RT60, RT30, RT15 or the EDT, these indicators should give in theory the same results, but they are calculated over a decay of 60, 30, 15 or 10dB (by multiplying the duration by 2 for the RT3à, 4 for the RT15...), thus normalized to a decay of 60dB.
See section "Measurement of reverberation time" at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reverberation

Best regards.

Hi all, can you help me? I'm trying to get this colorized map (just like yours) and I can not get it at all. How do I do?

Hi
You need to put a plane reciever in your model, and then run an spps calculation.

Then in the results right click on it and load the animation. There are different options in this menu for static image with contours and also sound propogation animations.

Let me know if this works for you.
