Hello,
I am in doubt using the diffusion coefficients in my model. I red the documentation of the software and couldn't find its precise definition. I saw some articles, especially one about diffusion theory in the context of streets geometry and I am not sure I have to use the same definition with I Simpa.
So my question is : is the diffusion coefficient the ratio between diffuse energy and specularly reflected one ? If not I would be glad to know the exact one to enter my own coefficients.
Thank you for reading,
N. Aberkane-Gauthier

Yes, the diffusion coefficient is the ratio between diffuse and specular reflections:
D=1 for 100% difuse reflection
D=0 for 100% specular reflection
Best.
