Hello,

I'm using I-Simpa in a small project.
As the room has an irregular shape, I set two normal planes surfaces to verify the acoustic parameters and ask to plot the TR30 to see de TR distribution over de volume.
The TR30 should not be the same at the intersection between the two plane surfaces?
It seems that the horizontal plane represents the SPL distribution and the vertical one the TR30. Is it correct?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Sorry for the delay.

Currently surface receiver are not composed by punctual receivers, so the noise level will be different at the same coordinates. Please use punctual receiver for reference values.

Surface reveivers in SPPS count particles that go through its plane.

It is difficult to explain, but the surface area exposed on one cell are dependent on the orientation of that cell. So if you make two surface area with different normal then the noise level the intersection will not be the same.

We will add a new feature in Spps in order to build array of point receiver using cut planes
