Blessings! We would like to thank all the Young Adults who attended Caritas Day by participating in Library Pals or one of the many other projects available. It was great to everyone getting involved and serving others. Check out our event reminders in the bulletin. We hope this will keep you in the loop between bi-weekly newsletters. See below for the upcoming Co-Cathedral Young Adults schedule:
Archdiocese Young Adult Service Event
Date: Saturday, March 17, 2018
Come be the “hands and feet of Christ” with hundreds of young adults ages 18-39 at the Archdiocesan Young Adult Day of service, prayer and fellowship on Saturday, March 17, 2018. Teams will help serve those in need like Harvey victims, the sick, the poor, the hungry, homeless, prisoners and immigrants. The Day begins with 8:30 a.m. Mass celebrated by Bishop Sheltz, followed by breakfast then head out to serve in teams all over the city. Online registration required www.archgh.org/yacm or call 713-741-8778. Participants can choose from a list of available service projects. $10 includes t-shirt/breakfast.
Before registering, please let us know if you are interested, we would like to put together a team to attend this event.
Mass & Lunch
Date: Sunday, March 18, 2018
Where: El Tiempo - Navigation, 2814 Navigation Blvd, Houston, TX 77003
Join us for 11 am mass. We will be seated on the right side of the church, close to the front. Immediately after mass, we will carpool and meet at El Tiempo. If you cannot find us for mass, we will wait in the narthex (front lobby) for a few minutes after mass has ended. If you plan on attending lunch, please email us by Friday, March 16th, so that we can get an accurate number to make a reservation.
Second Annual Priests vs. Seminarians Basketball Game
Date: April 6th
Where: Strake Jesuit Competition Gym, 8900 Bellaire Blvd, Houston, TX 77036
Time: 7:00 (Be sure to arrive early!)
Please join as we gather with other Houston Catholics to watch the annual Priest v. Seminarians Basketball game. The cost of entry is free. However, we do ask that you leave a donation if able. For more information: http://www.houstonvocations.com/event/pvs_basketball_game_2/
Young Adult Game Night
Date: April 13th
Where: Co-Cathedral Centre, 3rd Floor
Time: 7-9 pm
Please join us for fellowship and fun! We ask that everyone bring a snack, dessert and/or drink to share. We will provide pizza. If you would like to donate for the purchase of the pizza, please email us. If you have a (board) game you would like to bring, PLEASE let us know. So far we will have cards, dominoes, and loteria.
