Blessings! We are so excited for the new direction the Young Adult ministry is taking and hope to see many of you at one of our upcoming events. We are working on new creative ways to continue to get the word out about our events. Remember, if you have any suggestions, please let us know.

Young Adult Book Club (Rediscovering Catholicism)
Join us, the Co-Cathedral Young Adults as we REDISCOVER CATHOLICISM

Mass - LUNCH CANCELLED DUE TO SCHEDULE CONFLICT

Join us for 11 am mass, as we have had to cancel lunch this month. We will be seated on the right side of the church, close to the front. Please stop by and say hello if you attend mass.
World Youth Day Cross & Icon visit Houston - August 23rd
Join us as we welcome Young Adults from throughout the archdiocese to the Co-Cathedral. We may need some Co-Cathedral volunteers, if you would like help, please email us.
We are looking for people to bring flags from all over the world. This will represent all the different cultures of the Archdiocese. If you have a flag from another country and would like to carry it in the procession please sign up in here: https://goo.gl/forms/vOebWoicwlgO5WYx1
The WYD Cross will be visiting Houston for few hours on Thursday August 23rd, 2018, the schedule for the evening is:
6:00pm Cross veneration and Divine Mercy
6:30pm Cross procession outside Co-Cathedral
7:15pm Liturgy of the Word with Bishop Sheltz
8:00 pm Cross veneration accompanied by English, Spanish, Vietnamese,
African descent Filipino and Chinese choirs;
Confessions and WYD testimonies.
9:30pm Final blessing

Service and Remembrance Day
You are invited to participate in the call to Remember and Serve this 9/11/18.
6:00PM Vespers at the Co-Cathedral
6:30PM Volunteer projects at the Cathedral Centre
8:00PM Dinner for volunteers served by CCSH Young Adults
The Young Adults will be grilling hot dogs and in charge of serving the meal for volunteers. Please email us, if you would like to volunteer.
Additional Service Projects:
House Warming: Assemble housewarming baskets for young adults who are aging out of foster care and getting their first apartment.
Birthday Treats: Repackage cookies and assemble a birthday bag for Meals on Wheels seniors.
LifeBooks: Use your creativity and help put together special Life Books for children in foster care. Volunteers are encouraged to bring any scrapbooking supplies they have.
