Blessings! We are so excited for the new direction the Young Adult ministry is taking. As we get events scheduled, you will be able to find a list of at least 2 - 3 upcoming events in each week’s bulletin. We hope this will keep you in the loop between bi-weekly newsletters.

World Cup Watch Party
Date: July 7, 2018
Where: Christian’s Tailgate - Downtown, 1012 Congress Ave, Houston, TX 77002
Time: 12:30 meet; 1:00 pm Game time
Join us as we beat the Texas heat while watching the World Cup Quarterfinals. Parking is available on the street or in a nearby garage. You can always park at the church and take the train north to the Preston station.
Service Event: God is Love Bags
Date: July 8, 2018
Where: Cathedral Centre
Time: 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm
The Co-Cathedral Outreach ministry has partnered with the Co-Cathedral Young Adults to prepare and assemble care packages to immigrant children. Join us as we’ll share our love for all people, namely the children who now call Houston home. Please email us to let us know if you will be joining us.
Café Catholica 2018
“The Voice of Christ: Rooted in Love” is a dinner-lecture series for young adults, featuring dynamic speakers. The Cafe is held over four Mondays at St. Michael Catholic Church (1801 Sage Rd. Houston TX 77056) 5:15pm Confessions and Guided Prayer, 6:15pm mass, 7:15pm dinner, 8:15pm speaker, table exhibits, and socializing. Come for all or part of the evening.

Service Event: Cathedral Centre Makeover - TENTATIVE
Date: July 21st or 28th, 2018
Where: Cathedral Centre
Time: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm (Lunch provided)
Help us give the Cathedral Centre a makeover. Fr. Lawrence has called up on the Young Adults to assist in cleaning and organizing areas of the Cathedral Centre. You can join us all day or take a shift from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Please email us if you are available to assist.
Mass & Lunch
Date: July 29th
Where: Guadalajara ,1201 San Jacinto Houston, TX 77002
Time: Immediately following 11 am mass
Join us for 11 am mass. We will be seated on the right side of the church, close to the front. Immediately after mass, we will walk over to Guadalajara. If you cannot find us for mass, we will wait in the narthex (front lobby) near the pamphlets for a few minutes after mass has ended. If you plan on attending lunch, PLEASE email us, so that we can get an accurate number to make a reservation.
