Young Adults,

First and foremost, THANK YOU to everyone who has offered to help or has taken the time to join us in helping others. We are doing our best to provide assistance to other parishioners and members of the Houston community.

We have received an update from Outreach regarding volunteer opportunities. If you can help with any of these, please let us know, or email Jordyn at outreach@sacredhearthouston.org. If you have contacted us regarding volunteering tomorrow, I have already passed on your confirmation to Jordyn.

  1. Is someone available to pick up a mattress from the 3rd floor of a parishioners home near the Cathedral Centre and bring it to another parishioners home near Greenspoint? The parishioner in need has been sleeping on towels on the floor. She is an elderly woman. 
  2. Volunteers are needed at the Maime George Catholic Charities building to unload 2 big 18-wheelers on Sunday at 10AM. A group from El Paso took donations and were going to bring them to us. But, they collected too many for us to handle- so we sent it over to Catholic Charities. Sunday 9/3/17 at 10AM, 1111 Collins Rd, Richmond, TX 77469
  3. We also need volunteers tomorrow at the Cathedral Centre- but if anybody is willing to drive to Richmond they need a lot of help as well.
  4. A Cantor needs help on his home on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 1:30pm-5pm.
  5. We have 3 parishioners who still aren’t able to access their homes- so we can’t schedule a group to come down yet. But, I will let you know once they are able to get to their homes! They are all in the Katy area.
