Please join Parents for Public Schools-Milwaukee and State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Evers, Weds. Sept. 26, for a preview, discussion and brief Q&A about Superintendent Evers' proposed 2013-15 state education budget -- and how cuts to public education affect you.

"What to Expect When You're Expecting More Budget Cuts" runs from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26 in the auditorium of MPS Central Office. The event is free and open to the public.

RSVP to PPS-MKE today: https://www.facebook.com/PPSMKE or http://ppsmke.org

Also on the agenda:

Learn about proposals to restore public-ed funding across Wisconsin

Talk about how funding cuts affect your families and schools

Meet PPS-MKE, the first Wisconsin chapter of the nationwide nonprofit Parents for Public Schools

Engage in immediate opportunities for outreach and action.

"What to Expect When You're Expecting More Budget Cuts" is co-sponsored by Wisconsin Alliance for Excellent Schools and MPS Board Director Larry Miller. All of us hope to see you Wednesday! We need as many MKE parents as possible, with others statewide, to restore and rebuild funding and support for our public schools!

Best,
