I hope everyone is doing great and those of you who are back in school now are not being too lazy...
There are two quick announcements that I wanted to make to everybody on here...
1) I just posted a new blog entry which can be seen at http://iappreciateorg.wordpress.com. It was a piece that was submitted by a good friend of mine, Muhi, and I encourage you all to check it out and comment.
2) As some of you have heard, I will be doing an interview at the end of the month with hip-hop underground legend Immortal Technique. I wanted to get more people involved in this interview and encourage you all to submit questions to me via facebook or e-mail along with your name and city. I will go through the submissions and choose the questions that I think are most pertinent and will include them in the interview and will even give you a shout out. So if you, or anyone you know, may be interested then get involved and get me some inspiring questions! (some people have asked, but I will not announce who's questions I will be using before the interview. You'll just have to watch the interview to find out!)
As always, we encourage everyone to get involved in whatever capacity that they can. Rock a shirt, sign up to volunteer, donate a few dollars every month or start an e-mail campaign or some type of campaign in your city/school. This organization will only succeed as much as the people who are a part of it are involved, so please try and be involved in any way possible!
Don't forget to e-mail all of your friends and family about i-appreciate.org and don't forget to invite more people to the Facebook group (we seem to be stuck at 560; if everyone invites 10 people that they KNOW will join, we will be much stronger in number)...
Lastly, any feedback/suggestions on how we can improve as an organization are always welcome...
