We hope this e-mail reaches you all in the best state of health.
So far everything has been going quite well for us and really are grateful for all of your help and support thus far. The blog has been updated (http://iappreciateorg.wordpress.com) so please check it out.
We have gotten a few volunteers so far (and could definitely use more!) and plan on having our first volunteering outing sometime in mid-July (stay tuned!). The Facebook group is also gaining steam (closing in on 500 members). Make sure to invite your friends and family to the group and add us on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/iappreciateorg) and follow on Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/iappreciateorg).
And now, for the last bit of news which is really exciting (if you're not, then sit down!). Okay, so we thought that we would hold a small contest so that people could get involved and have fun as well. So we decided to hold a contest starting right now until July 31st, 2009 (11:59 p.m. EST). The rules are as follows:
1) The person to successfully sell 10 i-appreciate.org shirts first wins (when other people are buying, please make sure they put your name and e-mail address in the "Special Instructions" when checking out so that we can keep track of it).
2) The winner will receive a $100 Gift Card to Best Buy.
3) The winner will be happy and excited!
That's pretty much it. There are no rules saying that you must be a legal resident of the United States or 18 years or older (you obviously have to have a mailing address so that we can mail you the gift card!). We want everyone and anyone to be involved in the organization and thought that offering a $100 Gift Card to Best Buy would help :) The contest ends on July 31, 2009 at 11:59 p.m. EST or when someone successfully sells 10 shirts (shoot you could even buy all 10 shirts for yourself!). The winner will be contacted via e-mail and the gift card will be mailed out! If you have any questions don't hesitate to contact us!
Hopefully everyone is having a great summer! Keep coming back and visiting the site and if you haven't sign up to volunteer and get your friends and family involved as well.
