I hope this reaches you all in good health...
I just wanted to thank each and every one of you who have joined the Facebook group and have shown support for i-appreciate.org by either making a donation, purchasing a shirt, or spreading the word. It is truly amazing and humbling to see an organization that was established only a few months ago begin to spread throughout all corners of the globe and getting people of all backgrounds involved.
I encourage you all to not let this goal of reaching 1,000 go to waste. There are many causes/groups out there that have a good amount of followers yet nothing gets done. i-appreciate.org is not around just to be a large organization, but it is our sincere attempt to change things for the better by working together with communities worldwide. Naturally, this is not possible without the help of each and every member and supporter of i-appreciate.org.
In the upcoming weeks we are planning to have an "i appreciate" day where we will notify everybody about a particular day where we would like for you to dedicate your Facebook status and Twitter updates with a phrase "I appreciate ______, what do you appreciate?" followed by i-appreciate.org. This event has two goals. One is to show togetherness and solidarity amongst all of the different supporters of i-appreciate.org. And the other is to spread the word, collectively, to a large number of people about i-appreciate.org.
I want to thank you once again for the tremendous support you all have shown for this organization and I hope and pray that we can someday reach incredible heights and be at the forefront of change in the fight against domestic violence.
