Meeting with Carol

Hi Phil and others,
I had a meeting with Carol McCreary, a very dynamic and powerful
woman, about creating a group of people who are interested in
addressing issues of need or scarcity. I had Iamwar in mind as a
possible support structure for this project and I told Phil I would
let him know what happened at the meeting. So here it is.

Carol threw out several names for me to utilize. One was Green
Empowerment, a group that sends volunteers down to help farmers in
South America obtain renewable energy resources. Umbrella, a group
recently created to provide monetary support for small groups (perhaps
Iamwar). Barb Lescher is a woman who walks on the street and treats
homeless people she meets with medical attention when they need it.

Carol and I talked about the creation of the Social Entrepeneur
Incubator as a group of people who think laterally (creatively) about
solutions to current issues.

She brought up three projects she wants to work on:
Non-motorized sidewalk transportation
Peer co-care collectives for people over 50 (no combining of assets,
just sharing of skills, love, support)
Restrooms for the public, of course
