Zaytuna Minara Program comes to Phoenix! I AM hosts domestic violence event

The website for I AM: American Muslim is coming together piece by
piece. Many thanks and prayers for rewards go out to Kamla Tung and
Ameer Ayoub for finding the time in their hectic schedules to make it

Zaytuna will be holding a Minara program here in Phoenix March 1 & 2
at ICNEV at 12125 E. Via Linda in Scottsdale. "Agenda to Change our
Condition" is a two-day seminar and the book of the same title is
included in the registration price. Registration can be made via the

I AM: American Muslim is organizing a Domestic Violence Awareness
Event called "Not In Our Name". Working with Muslim organizations in
D.C., Atlanta, Tennessee, and Pennsylvania, it will be a Muslim-
sponsored event with an interfaith message on March 26th. Details to
come. If you are a survivor of domestic abuse, or know someone who
is, please contact me. We would like to have survivors share poems,
monologues, songs or artwork they have written about their overcoming
the effects of domestic violence. We are also looking for survivors
of all religions, ethnicities, backgrounds, etc to participate in the
event to show how domestic violence cuts across all demographics.
