My name is Ilaria Mastroianni and I am part of the Lionbridge AI Recruitment Team.
I found your email address on the Deaf Church Where website and I am contacting you because we are currently conducting a video research study for Sign Languages and I would like to ask for your help in reaching your deaf community.
The aim of this study is to improve recognition for Sign Languages via artificial intelligence technologies. Participants will have to interact with 3 to 5 other study participants (families and friends can participate together) in 4 online conversations via Zoom using Sign Language. Conversations will be recorded on a laptop, personal computer or tablet equipped with web camera. Each conversation should be for a duration of 5 minutes. The task can be done from home or any other quite place.
Compensation: Each participant who successfully completes the task will receive $40 either via PayPal or direct bank transfer.
Duration: The estimated total duration of the task is 50 minutes, including preparation time, 20 minutes of recording, and data uploading.
Estimated start date of this project: Immediate

Once the registration form has been completed, our Production Team will contact the selected participants with additional details and all the necessary instructions.
We need few hundreds of participants from various ethnic backgrounds for this research to assure that our customer's services, and derived products, are equally representing of a diverse set of end users, and your help would be truly appreciated.
Our study will be closed at the end of January.
