Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I hope this week finds you well! As you already know that it was saddened to see these massive tragedies in El Pasco and Daytona, all bottom line is a spiritual problem. One family in El Pasco publically announced that they forgive the gunman for killing the son and his wife. Someone asked them, " Why you forgive the gunman?". The family man (father) replies, " The devil got into the gunman and made him do such a terrible.". He was right. Indeed, many people who need the Lord Jesus! The gun is not an issue, but the spiritual realm is a huge issue.

Last Sunday we started with good service. We had two VISITORS! And the guest speaker and his whole family were presented. Cameron preached about Jesus with Mary while her sister, Martha, was busy running the errands. We are focusing on the servanthood evangelism. Servanthood means to go after God's heart ( Jesus' heart). Our hearts must match with Jesus heart like the heart of the best friends. The first step is to listen to Jesus. It is a very critical matter for us to listen to HIM. IF we practice listening skill, then we will have good listening and UNDERSTANDING. Mary spent her quality of time with Jesus and sat and listened to Jesus.

This Sunday, August 11th, we will have another guest speaker. He is CODA and uses his native ASL. Please kindly welcome him and his wife, Charlene. Charlene recently lost her father, and they will have a memorial service this Saturday. Lift them into the prayer. The guest speaker is so anticipating to looking forward to serving.

After the service, I had the opportunity to have lunch with two visitors. They asked me a lot of questions about this church. They pray for this church. I just want to remind you that this church is not MINE and YOURS too. The church belongs to Jesus. We go to Jesus' church because He is established His church on Peter's rock. Therefore Jesus is ahead of the church. We are all the children of God who come into the presence of Jesus in the church and worship Him.
