Kauden päättäjäisiä vietetään tänä keväänä lauantaina 30.5. Lisätietoja tapahtumasta tulee myöhemmin, mutta laita päivä jo nyt ylös kalenteriisi!
Perinteiseen tapaan kauden päättäjäisissä luovutetaan eteenpäin Jukka-palkinto. Jukka-palkinto jaetaan vuosittain yhdelle HYTKD:n jäsenelle tunnustuksena seuran eteen tehdystä merkittävästä ja aktiivisesta työstä. Jukka-palkinto on seuran arvostetuin vuosittain jaettava palkinto, ja palkinnon saajan päättää seuran jäsenet.
Jukka-palkinnon lisäksi seuran hallitus on päättänyt avata uuden palkintokategorian, jossa haetaan erityisesti viimeisen vuoden aikana tunnustusta ansaitsevia henkilöitä ja tekoja. Onko joku seuran jäsen tsempannut ja saanut sinut ylittämään itsesi? Onko joku seuran jäsen aina treeneissä ja talkoissa mukana? Onko joku seuran jäsen opettanut sinulle hyvän muistisäännön tekniikoiden tekemiseen, tai kertonut pukuhuoneessa niin hyvän vitsin, että se naurattaa kuukausienkin jälkeen? Pienempiä ja isompia ehdotuksia palkittavista otetaan vastaan.
Ehdotukset Jukka-palkinnon saajaksi ja/tai lukuvuoden ansioituneeksi on nyt auki. Voit ehdottaa haluamaasi palkintojen saajaa tällä lomakkeella 18.5. asti. Jukka-palkinnon ehdokkaista perusteluineen tullaan tämän jälkeen koostamaan yhteenveto, ja jäsenet saavat äänestää palkinnon voittajan. Lukuvuoden ansiotuneiden osalta seuran hallitus valitsee saatujen ehdotusten perusteella muutaman palkittavan.

This spring, the end-of-season celebration will be held on Saturday, May 30th. More information about the event will be shared later, but mark the date in your calendar already now!
As is tradition, the Jukka Award will be presented at the end-of-season celebration. The Jukka Award is given annually to one member of HYTKD in recognition of significant and active contributions made for the club. The Jukka Award is the club’s most prestigious annual award, and the recipient is chosen by the club members.
In addition to the Jukka Award, the club board has decided to introduce a new award category aimed especially at recognizing people and actions from the past year that deserve acknowledgement. Has some club member encouraged you and helped you surpass yourself? Is someone always participating in training sessions and volunteer work? Has some club member taught you a great mnemonic for techniques, or told such a good joke in the dressing room that it still makes you laugh months later? Smaller and bigger suggestions are warmly welcome!
Nominations for the Jukka Award and/or the Academic Year award are now open. You can nominate your chosen recipient(s) using this form until May 18th. After that, a summary of the Jukka Award nominees and their justifications will be compiled, and the members will vote for the winner. For the Academic Year awards, the club board will select a few recipients based on the submitted nominations.
