Delete a tag or batch remove it from annotations

How do I either delete a tag or batch remove it from the annotations I've applied it to?

Hi Gloria,

Right now you can delete a tag from an annotation by:

1. Editing the annotation (click on the pencil icon on the annotation).
2. Clicking the "x" next to the tag you want to delete.
3. Clicking the "Post" button.

Note that if an annotation has no text and you delete all of the tags out of it you won't be able to post the annotation; annotations require text, tags, or both to be posted.

There is no way to batch remove tags inside the Hypothesis client. You may be able to using the API: https://h.readthedocs.io/en/latest/api/.
