Exporting annotations

Hypothes.is states that exporting annotations requires API. However it only links to its general API guide which does not so much as have the word "export" or "exporting" in it. So short of learning everything about API over the next few months (?), how can I export annotations?

(I am aware of a tool by Jon Udell and another one on github, hypexport, by karlicoss but neither works for larger amounts of annotations.)

This is especially critical because hypothes.is has long had the limitation of only being able to show the first 50 pages of annotations.

If you're looking to export annotations from a single page, you should look over our built-in import/export feature here: https://web.hypothes.is/help/exporting-and-importing-annotations/.

If you're looking to export all annotations in a group, one of our engineers put this together for you as an example of the simplest way to do so using the API: https://gist.github.com/robertknight/3f9e60eb1690f652cc858b3752a46a1a.
